The Musk Battery

Tesla is an electric car company. A really good one actually and I really want one of their cars one day.\

Over the last year they managed to up their sales game by 55%.

Now you want one too!\

As it’s reasonable when in that place and with BMW and Audi up your ass you want to ship fast!\

So to keep those sweet state of the art batteries of yours coming by building a separate factory for them!

You power it with solar energy and with the help of your batteries of course, you are going emission free and you get yourself some great investor backing.\

The math is good on your plant so why not make some batteries to power other people businesses and homes with the research you already did for yourself?

Looks good to me.

I don’t see something new though.

With a simple Google search there are options for about 5000 € that include the solar panels, setup and support of the whole system.

Maybe the systems are not so smart or pretty as the Tesla Power Pack but hey, I don’t think the smarts are Space X level stuff. Easily someone can make these smarts into a safe product if they have not done it already.

They work too, for less money and they include the expensive solar panels.

OK then. Why it matters?\

With the hype around Musks name and the attractiveness of the product, people are going to actually try the technology.\

This will give work to people doing the setup and providing the solar panels. With Tesla open-sourcing it’s patents there maybe will be an industry standard. Who knows?

As people become more familiar and hyped with going more environmental friendly I cannot see something wrong.
